Non-materialist neuroscience: Jeffrey Schwartz on business leadership

If you can get past the awful title, "neuroleadership" - as if that's something different from plain old leadership - non-materialist neuroscientist Jeffrey Schwartz offers "How NeuroLeadership Can Impact Business and Talent Management" here (November 3, 2008.)

All I have ever known about leadership is this: We can lead people to where we live, but not to where we don't live.

Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked, "What do you want?"

They said, "Rabbi" (which means Teacher), "where are you staying?"

"Come," he replied, "and you will see."
They went, and yes, they saw amazing things. But that is because Jesus really lived there and showed them what he really knew.

All real leadership begins with the recognition of reality and helping people adjust to it.
